A: This Sonoma property is private, centrally located and includes a private cottage in your peak-season rental. Vineyards surround the rear and one side of the property. Q: Why does there appear to be so many rules?
A: Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management Department establishes the “rules and performance standards” for all Vacation Rentals. Rules regarding maximum overnight occupancy, number of guests, noise limits, quiet hours, and amplified sound (along with numerous other regulations) are governed by section 26-88-120 of the Sonoma County Zoning Code and must be strictly upheld. These rules are intended to ensure vacation rentals are compatible with and do not adversely impact surrounding residential and agricultural uses.
